Donations & pricing
I use a flexible “pay what you wish” model with a suggested donation for each clip or full-event bundle. This keeps recordings accessible for everyone while still supporting the time, tools, and love that go into capturing and delivering your videos.
Most recordings on this site follow these suggested donation ranges. You’re always welcome to give more or less — these just help set expectations.
These are guidelines, not hard rules. If money is tight, lower the amount. If the recording means a lot to you, you can always donate a bit more.
Individual clips
When an event is listed on this site, each clip on the event page shows a suggested donation amount (usually around $5 per clip) next to its preview video.
- Each clip includes a full-resolution download without watermark.
- You can choose just the songs or pieces that matter most to you.
- You can always edit the suggested amount up or down before sending your request.
Suggested donations help cover time on site, travel, equipment, editing, storage, and long‑term hosting of your videos.
Full-event bundles
If you want everything from a show, you can choose the “Select entire event” option on the event page.
- Includes all clips that are listed for that event.
- Applies a built‑in discount of about 15% compared to donating per clip.
- The event page shows the bundle’s suggested total so there are no surprises.
This is a great option if you performed multiple songs or want the entire show as a keepsake.
Custom bookings & special cases
Need something beyond a typical open‑mic or small show? I’m happy to talk about custom recording for:
- Private events or house concerts
- Multi‑camera setups or enhanced audio needs
- Editing, promo reels, or highlight cuts
For custom work, we’ll chat about what you have in mind and agree on a donation range ahead of time, so you know exactly what to expect.
Why donations instead of fixed pricing?
I record performers of all backgrounds, ages, and income levels. Donations make it possible to offer high-quality recordings without putting cost barriers in the way of creativity. As this project grows and the legal pieces fall into place, I may shift toward an official pricing structure — but keeping things flexible now helps make sure everyone can participate.
